Hello Again Terry: What type of compresssion is used by tS when it outputs a targa file? Is it RLE? I recently had a problem with Premiere and I e-mailed a sample targa file to them (that is what I was having trouble with). They said that the compression on the file was very strange and it was about 125% bigger than it should be. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks Art

Yes, it's standard RLE compression. I know that I use tS-based RLE .tga's with Premiere, Photoshop, Razor Pro, etc.. I've never seen any .tga get bigger than without RLE, but stranger things have happened.. <g> Care to U/L the file to the GRVENC (tech. support) Sysop file area, then I can take a look at it. What version of Premiere are you using?
