Truespace 1.04 – How are you saving files as *.gif or *.jpg? Also with Corel
5.0 rev f the *.dxf files from Truespace are not imported correctly. Do you
have any suggestions for that?
Regarding the gif and jpg files. . . are you using something besides TS to
convert the files? If so, what?
Thanks Don

I noticed that, too.
But it's definetely a Corel bug.
All my exported DXFs are set to 0 byte after exporting.
(tS reports "end of file" when trying to import them)
I went to the Corel forum with this one.

Conversion utilities like Graphics Tools, capture programs like Hi-Jack or
Image editing software like Photoshop or Picture Publisher can convert from TGA
to JPEG or GIF. trueSpace2 will render directly to JPEG.
We also had planned on GIF and TIFF support, but had to pull this out because
UNISYS is claiming a patent on the LZW compression (4,558,302, the "Welch
Patent") used in these two file formats. We believe this will lead to JPEG
becoming the new standard for image compression.
