Greg, I'm trying to create an animation with a sphere following a circular (closed) path, while boinging to simulate squishing as it hits the ground, and make it go up an down. Here's what I've done, tell me if there is an easier way. I make the sphere, gave it the boing2 fx and made it follow a circular path. I then went back into Cycle Editor and converted the sphere into a Cycle object. Next I made the neccessary frames for the sphere to move up in 10 hold for 5, and return to ground in 7 (22 frames total). I saved the Cycle object. Went back to Stage and loaded the new sphere. Made it follow the path again but nothing. I don't get any up down motion from the cycle. I've tried using the morph technique with loading in frame 1, Cycle value 0 & # of times 5, then frames 2-90, Cycle value of 1, # of times 5 also. Nothing. The sphere just goes around in the path circle. What am I doing wrong? Steve

If the sphere is to follow teh path the path object itself needs to follow an up/down path. If editing the path to follow the motion is not an option, tell us, and well figure out a way to do it (hopefully painlessly) using another method. The easiest way is to use the path though. BTW, you won't need to use the CYCLE object either, since the path will define the entire motion. -GreG
