# a2000 trade-in
4 messages in this thread
Larry,
I remember setting Digiview head to head with the parallel port and
the A2000 connector was about 2/16'' higher than the digiview one.
So, it should be about 9/16'' or more, which is plenty for both. Of course
all we need to really find out is a 2000!! (C-A are you listening!!)
On the other hand, I am known to go crazy with my Dremel (mini drill) tool.
So go ahead, make my day!! 🙂
Bill.
PS. Here is the latest rumor from Comdex. C-A talked (showed??) about a
640×480 NON-INTERLACE board, fully compatible with the 640×400 mode
available for the 2000 by the end of the year. They said it will be shown
at the fall Comdex show.
Intersting Bill.
I only looked at the A2000 connector, and it looked lower than the one on the
A1000, but of course it may have only looked that way because of the increased
height of the 2000.
Regards, Larry.
It is Larry, but you got to remember that both the A-Time and Digiview
fit above the genlock hole so you will have to compare them from that
point on.
Regards Bill!!
Bill,
I don't know about DigiView, but the original A-Time fit the Amiga with
the overhang "down" or over the GenLock hole. Later version pointed "up" and
hung up over the top of the Amiga, but left the GenLock hole open.
The only reason I know this, is we have 1 of each version.
