In the first scene of Marble Madness, if you jump accross and land on one of
the numbers it leaves a spot. Got any ideas what this is for!? Is it part of
the game, or just a bug? Thought I'd ask you since you seem to be good at it.

It's a bonus to keep advanced players from complaining about the first screen.
If you jump and land on the numbered arrows, you get a bonus of 1000 points
times your landing position measured against the numbers. The splotch shows
where you landed. Try it! >Bela<
