Thanks. Didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings. I'm just a regular shmoe,
who buys a few CD's every now and then. Those two vendors (CD-ROM Users
Group, and CITI) just happen to be two vendors that I have ordered from.
Actually, CDRUG is very expensive. He's not a vendor so much as a
collector.
I'll try your service next purchase. I assume your catalog is available
for downloading from your BBS.

I'd have to disagree about CDRUG he is a vendor, he certainly is NOT a user
group. To send out a catalog and call it a users group
newsletter…….Hmmmm I don't know about that. Last users group I was in
had meetings, and there were other memebers you could talk to, correspond
with etc.

Actually, after I posted my message to you, I logged onto your BBS. Guess
what…you do have some excellent prices…best I've seen. Your cost for
Loom (the game I just ordered from CITI) was lower than CITI.
Anyone reading this thread, I highly recommend you log onto Doug
Carpenter's BBS, and download PCJCDS.ZIP (615-478-2890 for 2400 baud). It
contains two files: one is a price list, the other is a detailed
description of select disks offered on the price list. His prices are
excellent, and he can get almost any disk you need, even if he doesn't
normally stock that disk.
(How's that for an unsilicited favorable review?!?!)

Is your BBS limited to 2400 or can it handle higher speeds? Please
elaborate.

I have 9600 v.32 at 615-479-1047 and 9600 HST at 615-478-2890.
Thanks for the info, Doug, but I tried your BBS last mid-week and got
that info straight from your board. Unfortunately, however, my
SupraFaxModem V.32bis was not successful in negotiating a working
connection with your 9600 lines. It was, however, successful with your 2400
line, albeit slow <groan>.
