I would like to hear pro's and con's about DIGA!. [DAlso ONLINE! and A-TALK.
Which offers more bang for buck. Which does most as advertised. Does any
have a Kermit that compresses and expands? Thanks, James

Of the three you mentioned, only A-Talk is worth bothering with, and that
only if you need a VERy good VT100 emulation.
The only temrinal program I know of that uses a compressing/expanding
kermit (and sliding windows too), is Aterm (ATERM.ARC in DL 4)

Online! is a pretty nice terminal program, but lacks Quick-B and WXmodem
protocols. Lots of other nice features. Access! is really slick, visually
more impressive than anything else, and lacks only support for changing the
font. It's cheaper, too, and the programmer, Keith Young, is here on the
forum frequently. While I like Online!, I would be inclined to recommend
Access!.

DIGA! is truly the best of them all with a few exceptions. The biggest
problem is it seems too have some minor code problems which at times can make
it lock up if you aren't aware of the problems. Diga is also missing some of
the better protocols, Quick B, Zmodem, WXmodem. But on the bright side,
there is DOUBLE TALK. This unique protocol allows two users to send files
faster then Ymodem in both directions at the same time while allowing the
users to chat in seperate windows. AWSOME!
I have a question now. When is AEGIS going to release an update? It is time
now and has been for quite a while if you ask me…. Does anybody
know?…….
