Thanks for the advice, and actually encouraging words. I do, in fact, have a
friend with a C-LTD and A1000. I will see what happens. It does make sense
that the EA program did bad things to my hard disk, and needs to be low-level
formatted.

If all else fails, try this…move the 2090 over one slot. Sometimes
the slots get finikey. If that cures the problem, I'd suggest having a
dealer look at the BUSTER chip (or Tower if you have an early A2000).
