John, It was your statement that 'giving a Disk to Fred Fish and then trying to enforce a copyright on that disk' (or words to that effect) that I was disagreeing with. I see no problem with giving Fred (or you) a disk and yet maintaining my copyright and right to distribute it as I see fit (which in this case would include Fred and/or you). Don

I don't think I said 'disk', I said program, and said "someone calling something PD, and then trying to enforce a copyright…" Are you reading and replying on the fly? 🙂
