Hi Greg I am writing you in enquiry about my order for a Rejuvinator. I made my order on March 22 to Expert Services and was told that they would ship at the end of April but have seen messages on the Nets that there was a delay due to a shortage of Agnus chips, so I have been waiting patiently. I just received my Visa bill today and I see that I was charged for the Rejuvinator and Kick 1.3 Rom I asked for, on May 2. That was a month ago. What's going on did they ship it or What? Now I am paying interest on a board I dont have. I don't wish to sound panicked but I got ripped off for over $400 last year by Computer Mart so I was just wondering if it was happening again. I would appreciate it if you could look into this situation for me. Thanks in advance. John Lemoine 75320,143

John, I'm don't actually work for Expert. I'll call and find out what's going on. Agnus chips are still a problem. The CBM laywers are taling taking their good old time in writing up a contract. They (the laywers) said this was a pain in the butt for them and this was at the absolute lowest priority for them. I'm sure you can get one shipped if you want an Agnus-less unit, but you've already been charged. I'll send you mail after I talk to them. Expert has only shipped about 35 units. They've got about 160 orders and the second batch of 100 boards are being constructed. The owner has a trip to Wash. DC coming up and intends to stop at Westchester on his way back, if things aren't flowing by then. -Greg

John, Expert doesn't expect the Agnus problem to be relieved for at least two weeks. So they told me to offer you three possibilites: 1) You can cancel your order and they will recredit your credit card.. 2) You can ask them to ship without Agnus and they will send Agnus when it is available. 3) You can ask them to ship without Agnus and find one on your own. Expert will recredit your card the difference. They want to let you know that they are sorry that your card got charged; They did so with boards in hand, waiting on CBM to deliver chips. If the Agnus chips had arrived, you would have gotten them at least two weeks ago. -Greg

Greg, Thanks for the Info regarding the Rejuvenator shipping problems. I am just about to go on holidays for two weeks, so I might as well wait it out for the Agnus Chips to arrive at Expert. I bet you guys are starting to wish you had bought the Agnus chips from a third party, and paid a bit more rather than have to deal directly with the Mother Corp itself and get the royal run around. Oh well since I was an adventurer enough to buy an Amiga four years ago my A1000 has been good to me and I will look forward to extending it's life further. I can wait Awhile. Regards !!! Remember Real Amiga's have Keyboard Garages. John Lemoine 75320,143

Mother Corp is drying up the third party Agnus supply, from what I hear. Some were alledgedly brough in from overseas. Rumors are that they were defective. I would rather have real working product, that I can trust than to put out a shoddy product. -Greg
