If you use "fill" it uses Relative addressing, so I don't see this as a
problem. The biggest bug of them all was the single precision, and now
thats fixed.
Automatic upgrades will be mailed you everyone when the new version is
fully beta-tested by yours truly, I've already spotted about a dozen bugs,
and they have been stomped. I want to keep searching until I'm relatively
sure they are all worked out.

Tom, I recently purchased Comic Setter and its version 1.0 (it was on
clearance at Software Etc.) I have sent in my registration card, but I was
wondering if there are any updates for this program? Like what it can do, I
just like to have the latest vesions of my programs. Any help on this is
greatly appreciated. Thanks… Christopher Hauk

Can you say more? I am not at all clear how the fill function allows one to
copy formulas so that relative addressing is maintained. At any rate I'm
going to fool around with the fill function later today to see if I can't
figure out what you mean.
Incidently, Advantage is widely seen to have this "bug" so the Advantage
manual is clearly defficient on this matter.

For instance, if you had cell A1 with formula =A1-3, and selected the
range A1 to E1, went to fill, the formulas in cells A-E would be =A1-3,
=B1-3, =C1-3, etc… respectively.

I knew fill could do what you suggest in your message. What I was asking
about (sorry if I wasn't clear enough) was this …..
I have the following formula in B12: "=SUM(B10..B1)". I want to copy this
formula to G25 so that the formula in this cell is "=SUM(G23..G14)". Now in
all MSDOS spreadsheet programs (and I presume in most Amiga spreadsheet
programs) I can do this by copying B12 to G25. How do I do this in
Advantage using FILL or anything else?
BTW, I can't for the life of me understand why pattern fills have not been
implemented in ProDraw 2.0? Since it is mentioned in the manual can we
assume that it is coming? IMHO the lack of pattern fills seriously weakens
the program.

I'll talk to project co-ordinator for The Advantage and find out
more about relative and absolute copying, and see if we can get it into the
next version.
No, PDraw 2.0 does not have pattern fills. Thanks for the info on
the manual, though. I don't know yet, if it is planned for the next
version, I'll let you know.
