Does anyone know what hardware/software is necessary to interface a 2000
with SCSI and a VideoDisc or CD-ROM player? Some software packages (VIVA,
AMIGAVISION) reviews talk about it, but no one seems to be advertising the
hardware.

Paul, when you use an industrial style laser disk player, they come with a
standard rs-232 port. AmigaVision supports about a dozen different players,
and all it takes is a null modem cable to connect it to your Amiga's serial
port. I use a Sony 1200 at home, and a Sony 1550 at the office. Both work
