I just got my MBX 1200 board, and my 8 meg SIMM, in for my A1200, and boy does it speed up the machine 🙂 Good job Redmond! I really like being able to have 4 megs addmem'd so I can use the PCMCIA slot! If anyone's intested, I can post the AIBB results, compared to a 500… Bob Comer

Bob, Please post the AIBB results on the A1200 equipped with the 32-bit fast RAM. Also if you can post the standard results (A500, A3000) I'd be grateful. I ran AIBB on an A4000 and an A1200 (2 Mb chip RAM, no fast) and was impressed, but am wondering what effect the 32-bit fast RAM has on the writepixel test. (Man, running WIng Commander on the A1200 is great whereas it wsa slow as molasses on an A600. The speed difference is astounding!) -Chas

Charles, what were the results in the writepixel test with the A1200 (no 32-bit fast ram) and the A4000. Thanks. John

Yep, the speed difference is great! I'll probably post the AIBB results tommorrow! (Got to format it to send.) Bob Comer
