I have the Sony Laser Library external CD ROM drive, and would like to add a sound card. I was told by one salesman that the only card that would interface properly (because of a proprietary, non-SCSI bus) was the Pro Audio Spectrum Plus. Could anyone comment on this? I'd hate to be narrowing my options unnecessarily, especially since the Sound Blasters are the only cards that seem to be in the stores around here.

HI Michael, there correct. The Pro audio 16 is the top of the line card and has a real scsi interface. Should work fine on the Sony. they sell for about $250-260. Thanks, Jerry Cudmore

MichaelMedia Vision has been developing a version of their PAS card to connect the Sony LL. The LL uses a proprietary connection. With the PAS card, the Sony LL will become fully MPC compliant. Checkout the Multiven forum -the Media Vision inhabits there. Wayne
