Hi all… I just purchased an NEC CD-ROM drive from a computer store that was going out of buisness. For $100 I got a working drive, a scsi cable and a terminator…but no drivers. I plugged the scsi cable into my scsi port on my ps/2, but am not sure what to do about the drivers. Should I write to NEC? Or is there a generic driver available? I must admit I came into this untapped world rather half-baked, but I want to rectify that situation as quickly as possible. Can anyone give me some suggestions? Thanks Ron

You can call NEC (800)-FONE-NEC for technical support.

The drivers go with your host adapter, not the SCSI drive itself. If SCSI is a feature of your IBM computer, you need to see your IBM dealer for drivers.
