I'm not knocking 3DS which is *probably* a better 3d package than Lightwave
but everyone on these forums is soooo partisan!!
I don't know why its so difficult for the PC World to recognize high
quality s/w from the Amiga platform (& vice versa).
I have been to the newtek booth and seen it first hand at Siggraph and
places. No one I know in the broadcast industry thinks that the signal
output from the toaster is high-enough quality. The 3-D programs are
another thing. I know there are several good ones on the Amiga for around
$500. All I was referring to was the signal quality from a toaster. It is
kinda like all the NTSC/VGA manufacturers claiming 'broadcast quality' yet
no-one would dare put it on the air… Remember also that I am not a
boradcast expert and these are just personal opinions…
