This is a strange forum. I'm assuming that the transition from Windows 3rd party vendors to your very own Forum is taking some time to smooth out. Is Mr. Andrew Knox still with Corel? In no way I mean to imply that the current SysOp(s) are different from the one(s) from the previous Forum, but the couple of messages I dropped on that forum were answered in a day or two and the response was most useful. The two messages I posted before in this new Forum were not only unanswered, they were plain deleted the very next day! Are you people re-organizing in tandem with the 3.0 release? What's going on? In case is still relevant, one of my questions had to do with our dealer asking for the Corel 2.01 Serial Number in order to qualify for an upgrade to 3.0. Do they need to be informed there is no serial number? Do i need to be guided as to where to find this serial number? What happened to the well known "first page of your manual" deal? Anybody there? Hello…? Over…?

Hi Richard; There seems to be some confusion about what is required to upgrade to version 3.0 directly from a reseller. First of all Corel dose not use serial numbers, although many other software companies do use serial numbers to maintain their data base this may have resulted in the confusion with your dealer. In order to purchase your upgrade directly from your local dealer you will be required to take either the front COVER of your user manual or the program disk #1 to the dealer. My apologies for both the confusion and delay. Regards, Cindy

Cynthia, Just one question about upgrades. I'm a re-seller and I was wondering whats the policy regarding Corel Draw! v1.xx users? Any special proceduring for them?

Hi Richard; CorelDRAW v1.xx registered users can upgrade to 3.0 for the same price as 2.0 and 2.01 registered users. They would also be required to provide the front cover of their user manual or the program disk #1 in order to purchase the upgrade. Regards, Cindy
