#SCSI Scanning?

I've got an Epson 300 scanner with a SCSI (and parallel and serial) port interface. I've got an Adaptec 1541 SCSI card in my PC for a CD-ROM drive. Can I use the scanner on my PC? Which companies sell the software to do this?
