I'm using an ATI Ultra which is an 8514 compatible card. In AniPro the VESA driver lets me choose a screen size of 1024×768. set RCPADI=RCPVESA.EXP only gives me a maximum resolution in the main display interface of 800×600. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to buy the Panacea or Vibrant drivers?

The ATI cards are not known for their 100% compatibility. Particularly, this card's 8514-mode is likely to screw up the RCPADI VESA driver. Regardless, for anyone using 3DS in high-res, I'd EMPHATICALLY RECOMMEND that they use the Vibrant (or Panacea) custom drivers. They are much much faster than the VESA driver, and at that resolution, it really makes a difference. – G

Are these drivers OAK compatible and where do I get them this side of the proverbial pond ??? – Grahame

Hey, don't ask me about drivers… <g> Remember, I'm the guy who puts the ADI code inside our application so we don't have to deal with driver issues… I have no idea if Panacea and Vibrant's drivers are OAK compatible. hmmm… Maybe ELM? But seriously, you'll have to call them yourself at: Vibrant: 512/250/1711 Panacea: 603/437/5022 – G
