I must be making a simple error. I can run SBPro from Windows 3.1 but when I use AAPlay from Windows the get sound button (srcipt menu) and play sound button are never active. Any I ideas?

The sound buttons will not be active if Windows doesn't have a sound board installed in it. You may need to go to the Windows setup program and install the drivers for your board. Check the sound blaster manual for how to do this. (I believe that, with the sound blaster, there is also a setting that must be included in the WIN.INI file in order for all of this to finally work.) –PhilD [ADESK]

Phil, That is why I am confused, ie: SB Pro is installed in Windows 3.1, I have the group icons and they all work out of AAplay ….. but no active sound buttons within AAplay. I guess I'll try removing aaplay and reinstalling it with the developers edition I received. jhg
