We are experiencing a problem returning to 3DStudio after viewing a 320×200 or 640×480 flic file. The machine just hangs. Any suggestions? Thanks, Bob Neeb – Spectrum 7

What kind of machine is it? What memory manager are you using? What kind of display card is in it? What display driver are you using? Do you have an RCPADI device configured? What does your autoexec.bat and config.sys look like? Before we can help you figure out what's wrong with your system environment, we've got to know more about the environment. Thanks, – G

You are correct. I did not think through the content of my message. One of the replies hit the nail on the head. The machine is not locked, The video state is just not returned properly. Going into the materials ediith the function keys and back to the editor restores the screen properly. The other message mentioned old drivers… Where should I look for New drivers. VGA. Thanks

Operating on the theory that you check the easy-to-fix things first, are you sure it's locked? When we were using old drivers a while back we had similar results, but it turned out if we went to the materials editor with the function key and then back to the editor/keyframer, the display would correct itself. –Noah

Bingo. What an elegant solution. This is rls 2. Where should I go for New drivers? Thanks.

This wouldn't be a PS/2 95, would it? Or other machine running XGA?
