Although you can buy rejuvenators and there used to be accelerators
available for the A1000….I've never heard of a board that converts one
into an A3000.

It's more of a 'card' than a board. About 1/32" X 2" X 3". You put it in
your wallet, take it to your dealer, sign the paperwork, and take home
your A3000. There are four popular brands, and not all dealers take all
brands. My dealer calls it the MasterCard upgrade. The good news is that
you get to keep your A1000; the bad news is the 'card' costs exactly the
same as the A3000. <g>
