Sysop, I have just purchased a cdrom drive (nec). Do you believe there will be
movies available using microsoft vidoe for windows. Is this possible. thx for
your help Larry

Things would be a little easier if everyone's name matched their ID, somehow.
In any case, products like Nautilus are delivering movies on CD today. If
you're talking about Terminator II, forget it for a couple of years or maybe
more. If you're talking simply about motion video for specialized purposes, it
is increasingly common.

And don't forget those "other" full-length movies that are now available on
cd-rom, Rich. There was four or five of them at COMDEX. Can't understand why
anyone would want to watch an entire porn flick in jerky (well, maybe that
isn't a good choice of words) video and difficult sound but different strokes
for very different folks, I guess. Cheers!
And of course, there's yesterday's announcement that Philips is going to put
some of Paramount's movies on CD-I. My, what a great concept for Compact Disc
– Interactive: Passive Movie Playback! Couch potatoes unite behind discs
instead of tape! Oy!

Great Idea for couch potatoes, a labor saving device, they don't need to press
the rewind button!.
Now if Philips comes out with a CD-I jukebox, they could vegatate for hours on
end!
