Is anybody having problems with ms-dos 6 and rendering in 3dstudio?

Yes. Dos 6 and 3D Studio don't work together. In fact, Dos 6 and LOTS of software won't work. Bottom line, stick with DOS 5!!! For more horror stories, read messages in the DOS forums…
