I'd appreciate any feedback on the Talon line of CD-ROM drives being marketed by Insight (the Hard Drives Intl people). They claim that the 200 model is double speed, multisession, and comes with a SCSI adapter. Does anyone have any experience with these?

We have bought some Talon 200 drives, and they are actually Texel 5024 drives ( or 3024 if you get an internal drive ). In general they have worked very well but currently we have a problem with the drives that have ROM version 1.09. Tech support says that version 1.10 is on the way. The drives with 1.04 seem to work just fine. Since Talon is Insight's own name you should check that they are still supplying Texel drives. The Talon 100 and Talon 150 are from a different manufacturer, as far as I know.
