What is it like to deal directly with Commodore? Do they support you? In what ways have they helped you most? By the way, do you know where I can get a streamer for a 3000UX that supports both the unix/amiga sides, the magtape command, and plugs directly into the scsi port? Signed, Interested.

Commodore has always treated us well. Things change based on who is in charge up there from time to time. Overall we have no regrets and only wish there were more Direct Dealers and a lot less Affiliate Dealers. Commoodore had a tape drive that did all that you asked–it is however, discontinued. It was called the 3070 Tape Drive, you may be able to find one around. -mark= Otto Pilot Engaged..

I am living in Germany and would have no idea of even where to start looking for a such a thing. I heard there were problems with the power supply, is that true? Could you ask Commodore directly for me and maybe they could help me out.

Just wanted to drop a note updating my previous statement…I checked with my "informed" source from Commodore. It was indeed 51 people laid off, not 15. David Hopkins
