#Aniplay/Powerpoint

If you don't mind switching to a PowerPoint competitor, SoftCraft Presenter
understands fli/flc files and will play them at the beginning of your
presentation or anyhwhere else within your presentation.
Call SoftCraft at 1-800-351-0500 or email me for additional info.

Robert, thanks for your reply. I'm looking for a way to play a flic file
with Powerpoint because my client only has Powerpoint and their company is
firmly entrenched in it. Personally, I'm not too fond of .ppt because its
files and capabilities are too limiting. My client must feel so too as
they have come to me for jazzing up their opening which I would like to do
as a flic file and then use their existing .ppt show. However, I am always
interested in new software and therefore would be interested in learning
about your product. If you have some lit please send to me at :

If you have the correct MCIAPP.DRV file loaded as part of your windows
setup then you can play the FLC file with an MCI call. Look for a file
called MCIAPP.ZIP in the libraries. It should be really easy to do what you
want to do from inside Powerpoint.
Phil, thanks for the info. I can't seem to find MCIAPP.DRV in any of the
Autodesk libraries. Do you know where it is?
– Brad
It's called MCIAAP.ZIP, that's why you coudn't find it.

I'm having literature and a demo disk sent to you. Please email or call if
you have any questions or comments.
I think you will find that Presenter has much more functionality than
PowerPoint (including creation of animation and use of existing fli/flc and
other files). We try to provide ease of use without limiting functionality
(there's even a graphics language interface if you need or want it!).
