His source was from a microphone, but he couldn't get it to work properly.
Possibly you can lend a hand, since without owning or ever using the AMAS
setup, all I can offer are generic suggestions.

Yeah, I figured that descibing the intricacies of building a "shiny box"
would intrigue (and challenge) even the most advanced 3D modeler. Why?
Surely you don't think I'm under estimating my reading audience, do you?
OK, maybe I'll throw in a "colored" cone (great now I have to write 2
paragraphs)!

I don't know, even with a "real job," there's still too much month left at
the end of my paycheck. Oh well, at least I take pleasure in knowing that
my machine is many, many, many times faster than yours.

F100-PW-200 Inside
Wow, make sure and include a disk with sample scenes! (When it gets this
complex, the user could easily get lost in the description. 'Next, we'll
make the bottom side of our cone . . .Step 1 . . .' :^)

I assume you're referring to that rather powerful aircraft that us
taxpayers so graciously allow you to fly? :^)

Geez, I guess I'll need to include a lot of screen shots too (so they
don't get the shiny box confused with the colored cone). I didn't
want to spend more than 2 weeks on this thing, darn! :^( <<OK, so

That's the main reason us 3-D guys buy the books in the first place! :^)
(Even if they ARE just spheres floating over checkerboard plains, they
have a unique sort of 'beauty'. :^)
