I'm sure I've read this before, but I don't remember…
So – anyone know the reason/fix for using a printer (actually just having
it plugged into the par. port) while dealing with toaster's framestores?
(They get distorted) Someone suggested it might be a pin in my cable?
Any help would be appreciated – I seem to be using my printer more
these days and don't like unplugging etc. Thanks
Mike
The Amiga's video slot apparently has some lines used by the parallel
port, which are what the Toaster uses to get framestores from ram on
the Toaster card into the Amiga's ram. So wacky things happen to
your printer when the Toaster starts or whne you load/save/ render
frames. Solution: 25-pin data switch box. Hook th eprinter to it,
and switch the printer off thre port when you're toasting.
