1230XAUpgradeNotGoodDeal

I just wanted to say that I'm sorry that I won't beable to take
advantage of your upgrade offer. But it just isn't as good a deal as
it sounds. I have a quote from Software Hut for $509 including tax
and shipping for the 50 Mhz board with a 50Mhz 882. This and taking
into account that I have sold my 1200z to a friend for $75, I am only
paying roughly $425 total whereas I would be paying about $550 from
you guys. I don't know if there is anything you can do about this
but if you could come close to that deal, I would be more than
willing to order the board from you.
Jonathan: that's fine with us so long as you buy our products! And
you'll always be able to do better via a private re-sale than we
could possibly handle on a trade-up –an MBX is worth more at retail
than at wholesale and effectively, a trade up can't even match
*wholesale* value just to break even (from the mfr point of view).
Moreover, the mail order community has become REAL aggressive in
their prices lately and that's something we can't and don't really
want to, attempt to control.
I'm just happy you bought our XA. –Redmond
Well, in that case… thanks! I will certainly try to scrape my cashola
together as soon as I can and get it mail order. I was just under a
misimpression of what you guys were trying to do. I do love your
products! You certainly can't beat the price for the 50Mhz with MMU… by
the way… what uses does the MMU have? I've heard of enforcer… what's
that?

Jonathan: Enforcer is a developer tool (from CBM) to debug programs.
MMU's most common use is to remap the operating system to fastram.
Thanks for your support. –Redmond
