Hello, I also would like to find C source for a FLC player or at least a file spec that I can read. A logoless runtime player I can't understand why Autodesk has not released a logoless runtime player? Copyright is not a problem and they even say they need not be mentioned in the startup-message. Additionally, I am not satisfied with the MCI DLL… it pauses when looping a Flc and displays a FLC's pallette before it draws the first frames data to the screen. Any advice would be very helpful. Tnx.

Brian, Check out FLILIB.ZIPand FLCSPC.ZIP both in this forum for info on the FLI/FLC format. Also, GO DDJ to visit the Dr Dobbs Jornal forum to get the FLC file spec. In the future, you will get a much better reponse if you post your progamming related questions in section 1. -Brian

Hi Brian, To get the file specification for .FLC files, you can download the file FLCSPC.ZIP or .EXE. I believe it's in library #2 on this forum. As for why the copyright always displays in the Aniplay, I don't have an answer. It's hardcoded in and I know of no way to suppress it. Perhaps someone who's more familiar with programming for the player interface can supply further information. Bob – Product Support / Autodesk
