#bump map hallways

I am moving my camera down a hallway with a pitted metal bump map. Everything works fine except the metal material seems to scroll in the wrong direction. As the camera moves forward the material on the wall moves forward too! Am I missing something here. I have used the bump map as a tile. Mitch

It is possible that you are getting a strobe effect between camera speed, frames, and bumps per distance. Kind of like spokes on a wheel when they look like their rotating opposite the wheel. One fix is to change the size of the bumpy metal. Another is to change camera speed. Hope this helps, ^.^ jt

Thank you for your answer John, that was the problem. The size of the bump map and the increment of change in the keyframer frames was just about the same so the effect was the bump map moved backward slightly. I stretched the bump map horizontally and that seemed to fix it. Mitch
