Is there any way in Pagestream 2.2 to change the shade of a graphic object without affecting the shade of the text? I don't have Art Expression or any of the other "support" programs and can't seem to find a way in the manual. // Mark \\// on Autopilot from Ohio!

What type of object are you looking to change? PageStream can change _ALMOST_ any object. It cannot change a bitmap graphic. That is about the only one I can think of that cannot be changed. Mark @ Soft-Logik Publishing

What I want to do is layer objects and text. I have a piece of clip art that I would like to make light grey and overlay solid black text over it. How do I do it? // Mark \\// on Autopilot from Ohio!

Just select your clip art (if it is a structured drawing), and make it light gray (choose Line/Fill, enter 20 percent or 30 percent in the text gadget). Add your text on top. Use the Bring to Front and Send to Back commands to change the depth. If the clipart is a bitmapped picture, you must change the color in a paint program such as BME or Deluxe Paint. Ok Mike, I'll give that a shot. Thanks for the support! // Mark \\// on Autopilot from Ohio!
