Due to the A4000 's slot deficiency when using the Toaster, and before the 4000 Tower arrives, are there any 3rd party solutions for extra slots? I noticed "Toaster Toolbox" in a message string-Is this what the doctor ordered?

Nope. I closed Oberon and Viking and started working for Highland Grey Consulting Inc. in Camrose. Right now I'm just on call, installing Toasters, 1200's and such. I should be full-time by Fall. Highland Grey will be adding mail order in the near future, and by that time, I may put a bbs back up for HG customers.

Trent, Most of the "solutions" I've seen only allow the power-only PC board expansion. One has an extra video slot, but asside from that there are none that I know of with actuall logic paths to the "slot Boxes" except via serial port to a card (e.g. Amilink) where that is the way they get information if they are in the main unit anyway.

FYI: Toaster Toolbox is simply a box with power supply and several extra ISA slots (For power only, no address or data bus support) Can be used for TBCs and such. Toaster Toolbox can be purchased from: Desktop Video Systems 14111 West 95th Street Lenexa, KS 66215 (913) 782-8888 Ask for Tom O'Connor (Mention Mike Reed when you call, Maybe Tom will keep orders generated here when he prices my next job)

I noticed "Toaster Toolbox" in a message string-Is this what the doctor ordered? Digital Creations has announced the Video Slot box. It's an IBM Mini Tower type case that has 4 Amiga video slots, IBM AT slots (power/ground only) for TBC, V-Scope type cards, 2-5.25" drive bays, 2-3.5" drive bays. Don't know the price or shipping date.
