I have a friend that has been making an ON DISK animation Magazine for about a
year now. He calls it C.A.N. for Computer Animators News. It began very
humbly and very simply, but has grown to be rather impressive. He has persons
that have made animations, send them to him, and he incorporates them into the
disk, along with his own, and mails it out for postage, and a 3-1/2 inch High
Density disk. He was wondering if I could upload it here for others to view?
I said that I probably could, but I wasn't sure of where to do it. I was also
curious if the standard fees apply for uploads as they do for downloads.
Any input as to where to upload, how to upload, and anything else pertinent is
appreciated. The "Magazine" is compressed and fills one 3-1/2 inch floppy
disk. I must also state that 99% of the animations are done in 320 X 200 to
conserve space. Even if the animations are originally sent in at 640 X 480 or
more, they are reduced to 320 X 200 for space limitation reasons.

Upload time to CIS is free of connect time charges. All new uploads should be
directed to library 9, "What's New". After the forum SYSOP has had a chance to
verify the file and contents (ie scan for viruses), it will be made available
for download.
As to "how" to upload, that depends on whether you are using a CIS specific
communications program, or a generic one (like ProComm).
