I have an Amiga 3000 with a Quantum 105 meg hard drive. I having a hard time understanding and installing the Workbench version 2.05. First of all, under a normal situation what is the best way to partition the hard drive? Do I need to have an x amount of space for the workbench, then the rest for applications? If so how much? Why is it that once I partition the drive 50/50 as Workbench2.05 and Work correspondently, select the OK gadget, select the save changes to drive gadget, wait ten seconds and reboot the system, I then select format drive. I get an error message saying the script WB_2.x and work do not match or not found? How can I solve that? Finally how is the actual installation of the workbench work? I mean, is there an automatic process for this, or does it have to be done manually? Thanks in advance!

Javier, Try formatting your partitions using the regular format command in the workbench menu. Name your partitions, then reboot from the Workbench 2.XX install floppy. Follow the on screen directions and you should be up and running in no time! A. Pagan

It sounds like you might have a superkickstart version of the A3000. If so you MUST have the system partition named WB_2.x. No other names need apply. {@_@}
