Couple of questions. How does one go about determining the needed rendering resolution for a particular hardcopy size? Do pixels=Dots per inch? Thanks for any info. Dave Mennenoh

David, To get your dots per inch and determine what resolution to render at, divide pixels by final output in inches, or multiply dots per inch by picture size, in other words, if you want your final output to be 300 dpi and on a 8" x 10" sheet, you would render at 3000 x 2400. Rendering at 1500 x 1200 would give you 150 dpi on 8" x 10". 'hope this helps. John

David…PMJI….You wouldn't happen to be talking to a prospective Client in Wausau about this would you? If so, you better call me..I've got many hours invested in a very similiar Q&A and: A: If its the same Client that I was talking to…You might be wasting your time….Ask him if there has been "Approval" or "Money Budgeted", you may save yourself a lot of Greif. B: If it isn't who I think it is, I can Save you _some_ research. LaTER. James.

James, Your reply was sent to me instead of David … I'm on the west coast and don't know anything about clients in Wasau. John
