ALL,
Can anyone tell me what the 2.1 manuals are like? I'm looking to buy a
set but I'm not sure what to offer. How many are volumes are there? Are they
stand-alone or do the require the 2.0 manual?

The manuals are separately bound, paperbacks. Smaller than the 2.04 huge
spiral I got with my A2000. I got mine with the 2.xx rom upgrade for my
older A2000. Price was around $80. The manuals alone might be around $40.
Oh, there are separate "Users Guides" for Workbench, AmigaDOS, ARexx,
Amiga Hard Drive.

They are stand alone. The 2.0 manuals were in three ring binders, but not
the 2.1 ones. I think the old edition was better. I've got both.

I hope 25 people don't reply to this. They are small and thin, 3 volumes
for Workbench2.1, AmigaDos, and Arexx (got it's own book, how about that?)
They are standalone as near as I can tell. Remarkable difference from the
big heavy looseleaf 2.04 manual.

John, I have a set of 2.1 manuals, virtually untouched. Also have in shrink
wrap the 2.1 software. I have 2 copies since I ordered the upgrade software,
but then bought a used A2000 which included same. If you still need it, I
could ship it out tomorrow. How does $70 + shipping sound for the whole
package (2.1 manuals, original box and unused software)?
