AVI on Amiga?

Wondering if anyone out there knows if there is an AVI player on the Amiga. I often find AVI files stuck in my news from the internet and up until now, I have been deleting them because I haven't a player. Thanks for the help! Jon

I don't think there's an AVI player for the Amiga. Does Microsoft even document this file format? There might be some kind of PC-based conversion program that would go to MPEG, or to sequential frames, which could then be re-assembled into an AMiga-based animation format.
