Errmmm… OK, I'll bite… email me pricing info on that and other DAT drives
(something I can move back & forth from my Toaster to my Pee Cee)…

MegageM has a special on 2Gig DAT drives for June for $649. Thanks for your
inquiry. I'll EMail you info on how to order, shipping costs, etc. It is a
WangDAT 6200. A real workhorse we've had experience with for 2 years.
Extremely reliable. I personally use one with AmiBack2.0 for backup of large
HD's and it works great. Interestingly, Creative's July AmigaWorld ad has
AmiBack2.0 for $14.95!
Luke,
Alternatively, if you are interested in saving a few $, Silicon Warehouse
Harddrives is selling the WangDAT 6200HS for $549 and Corporate Systems Center
is selling refurbed Wangtek 6130FS drives for $449 and refurbed Wangtek 6130HS
drives for $495. Both the 6130 drives are 4mm DAT.
What's the difference between these DATs?
6200HS is latest model 2Gig. 6130FS is older model 1.3Gig, 6130HS is later
model 1.3Gig. 1.3Gig drives do not support the use of the 90 meter 2Gig tapes.
If you want the 2Gig storage, get the 6200HS.

As far as I know, the 6130s are an older and slower model originally designed
when 4mm DAT tape was only 60m long and would hold only 1.3 GB.
According to the people at CSC, they are factory refurbs.
