>> Thats right… they only have license to sell the Supra-only version. Why >> would they have any interest in selling something else? If you had the >> 2.346 version you would probably try another modem and find out how bad >> the Supra's really are…. Sorry but that's wrong. Supra has from the beginning distributed a Supra version and a Generic version of GPFax. I would be interested in distributing the new version if all the "complications" could be worked out. Unfortunately, there are still problems with the class I version of the software and then a change in price for us. All that in combination with the demise of Commodore, doesn't help the decision-making process. Alex – Supra Technical Services

Alex, GV>>they only have license to sell the Supra-only version.<< AJ>>Sorry but that's wrong. Supra has from the beginning<< Whatever… I received this information from, where else but, Supra technical service. (and people wonder why I am kind of miffed at Supra) I bought the V32.bis when it was first released. Yes this means I have the frisbee, glasses, visor, and Supra T-shirt. I have made many attempts to get information from Supra with dismal results. Either someone didn't know what I was talking about or didn't really care. I hope things are different now. >>the demise of Commodore, doesn't help the decision-making process<< Sounds like it is to late though…. // Gary Vander Mei on Auto-Pilot \X/

So, can you upgrade my GPFax v2.01S? Or do I have to send the original disk to Australia? Regards Rafa <Motorola Inside> …via AutoPilot 1.72 from Berlin

Alex, Demise of Commodore does not mean the demise of your companies Amiga base customers. I purchased your modem because if I needed support you're here, for me, and not for Commodore. When and if the Amiga dies, I would expect that Supra would still support me. After all, if I have to change platforms, it is those proven companies, that have supported me and my Amiga, that I will seek out. This is product loyality. This is good business. If there is a better software package for the SupraFAX, let me know. If you can supplied an GPFax update to Class 2, and justify the cost to me — of course I would pay it. If your company does not want to take this project on, then atleast stress to Dr. Perry that he should seek out his user-base and provide them the service Supra Modem owners deserve. Alex, What of the problem with the Supra 144LC modem not hanging up on loss of Terminal Ready signal? Is there a fix for this yet? 73, Kelly
