Hello all, I am looking for a product called AMIVR. This product has unfortunatly been discontinued and I need to get my hands on one for an up and coming project. What AMIVR contains is one LCD 3D glasses and the development libraries. Also looking for SEGA Glasses and POWERGLOVES. If any of you out there have one of these items sitting around or know someone with them please drop me a line either in this forum or E-Mail. Thanks Shawn Silent Paw Productions (On the Prowl)

Isn't AmiVR from MenageM, who's owner (Daniel Wolf) is here regularly as 70250,626? — Dale L. Larson, Intangible Assets Manufacturing

Righto, Dale – that's MegageM! Thanks for your reply. I just left a fairly detailed reply to shawn also. AmiVR is completely alive and WELL – NOT DISCONTINUED – available and better than ever. Hope shawn isn't plugged into some disinformation source … 🙂 – here in the CIS Amiga User Forum he can surely get the truth!

How do you pronounce that (ME-gauge-m?) and how did you come up with the name? — Dale L. Larson, Intangible Assets Manufacturing

Shawn – GOOD NEWS! Guess what? I manufacture the AmiVR and it IS NOT DISCONTINUED – it is better than ever. It is available direct from my company, MegageM, and your dealer may be able to obtain it from at least one major Amiga products distributor if you want to get it through your local Amiga dealer. I don't know who told you AmiVR was discontinued, but that is definitely FALSE. AmiVR1 comes with 1 set LCD glasses, 1 video/3D glasses interface, 1 3D videotape you can view on your VCR and any NTSC monitor, cable, power supply, carry case, and – best of all – a disk crammed with images and software including my SPX scripting simple real-time 3D animation language! AmiVR2 is similar, but has 2 sets of LCD glasses and 2 3D videotapes and a larger carrying case. Shipped one out just today. In fact, in the past few weeks I've shipped out quite a few to individuals and distributors. MegageM also just released the AmiVRPro true dual video VR headset system (see message left a few weeks back in Hot News and Rumors section of this forum). Watch for upcoming publication of the recent press releases on AmiVRPro. For more information, EMail me.
