Help my 3ds.exe file keeps get corrupted what is the fastest way to get JUST
this file off of the Install disks? I don't know why this keeps happening but
I think it might be when I defrag my HD, I'll keep a ZIPed up copy of 3ds.exe
on my HD for a quick fix for the next time it happens if
this will help.

I don't know of a good way to get it off of your floppies. However, your idea
of doing a backup of the important 3ds*.* to a zip or a tape is the best way to
ease the recovery process.

I installed a virgin copy to my 486 (only cpu with a 5-1/4) then I copyed over
all existing 3ds.exe files and deleted all subdir's and zipped it up for safe
keeping.
