I'm curious about the "Samba" package in the library here. Here's the
description:

Source code for a free SMB server that runs on Unix. Allows your NT/WFWG
machines running the TCP/IP transport to access Unix file systems. Download
and un-tar on a Unix machine. Read the directions on compiling and installing.
Supports SunOS, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, Next, Linux, and a few others. Originally
downloaded from an anonymous FTP site on the Internet. Subject to GNU license
policy. Files are in Unix text file format. Supports file and printer sharing.
Also includes a FTP like utility than can access NT/WFWG.

I am currently "testing" this product with 4 personal computers on my lan. We
have an IBM RS/6000 58H. No problem on the install. Set up the config files.
Connected to the exported directories on the RS/6000. I had a harder time
getting Microsoft TCP/IP Beta to work!!! Printing seems to work too! The
RS/6000 can also attach to "Shared" Personal Computer files and transfer them
like ftp. Samba uses NetBIOS over TCP/IP, so you are not using NFS.

The above package in essence provides NBT support on Unix Based OS's.
