Sean,
Last I heard, a mid-February release date is expected. Had fun playing with
a working demo last weekend at CES…
Alan Iglesias
Hey Alan,
I did'nt know you were going to CES, we could have hooked up. Oh well,
maybe next time… We still need to get together sometime, but lets wait
until March when I finish my current book. Right now it's a little too
insane…

Hi, Mike
<Chuckle> Don't let it drive ya _too_ nuts!
Yeah, Vegas was cool. Hope your book is going well. Looking forward to
getting together when you can get some time…give me a call.

Hey Alan!
T7G is now at RC1 (Release Candidate 1). We are now _really_ late. It's
been hard to organize a gig of data!
– Graeme.
Hi Graeme!
Nice to hear from you…missed you in Vegas, it was a good time. Your
compression/animation code seems looks awesome! People were just standing
around and shaking their heads <G>.
I can only imagine what's involved with finishing up the project…hmmm,
Candidate 1 — does that mean they'll vote on it? he-he, but a monumental
task at best. I say that when it's done you should have a BIG release
party! (and of course fly me up!<G>).
Anyway, mate, hang in there and we'll talk again soon.
-Alan
PS — sure is nice to run AAPLAY, etc., straight to SVGA! Say hi to Rob,
Bob, and everyone…
Dude. Well we sent the final CD Data off today (for Rc1). We have some
script cleanup to do, but I feel a real sense of completion. Now I can get
to that pile of play things to do.
We got AAPro 1.3, pretty cool, yup, that SVGA.DRV uses Play code, no
credit anywhere though……
We moved from vdx 0.0 to 0.1 this week, so even more chins are dropping,
since we improved compression ratios by about 30% or so…..
Have you seen this months CGW? They claim we use two discs (as compared to
Return to Zork, which is a floppy game) since we don't use very good
compression. All I can say is. 90 minutes per disc.
Don't worry, we'll get together! And the party will look small next to
Clinton's!
– Graeme.
Good for you guys! I can't wait to see this.
Congratulations, Graeme!!!
I can't WAIT to see how it turned out. (Just make sure to send it to me
with the cheat sheet. <g>)
You're due for some serious time off. I hope the final stages and
production go very smoothly for you.
– G
Congratulations Graeme! Man, I've been waiting for this one to come out for
a long time now. Adventure games are my favorite; I'm really looking
forward to this.
– Jack
Graeme,
Congrats on the (near) completion! The software dealers down here say
almost everyone with a CDROM drive is clamoring for T7G because previous CD
game releases are mostly floppy ports and _very_ dissapointing.
The vdx improvements sound great.
Couldn't locate that CGW article (Jan. Issue). Obviously they made a
mistake somewhere! (Zork, indeed!)
Roger that on a party — As Gary said, you guys deserve a break…
