I would like some info on the potential of hydrogeology in S. California,
preferably San Diego and Orange counties in the coming years. I am looking
into it as a career. Since we can't all be seismologists and we have to eat I
would like some info on this if anyone has read anything about it. Also maybe
I could hear from an active hydrogeologist to find out what they think about
the field's possibilties. Thanks.
Several years ago hydrohead jobs were pretty easy to come by if you had some
good experience. I worked in Orange county as a geologist for several years
and saw quite a few jobs come by for hydro people.
I've heard the market isn't as good as it used to be.
You could always do what I did and go into software development. The pay is
better!<g> Good software jobs, however, are now getting hard to find as
well. 🙁
