Because I'm using the Radio Shack Modem II (8n1),I had to set the InCom filter to seven bits in order to view data from CompuServe. My question is: How does this effect a 8 bit download ? Thanx in advance for any help. Jim Mc

I use a Modem II also. I haven't had to do anything to incom. My comm settings are 7E1. I'm using Online! 1.0. Have you been able to get your modem II to autodial? If so I'd appreciate some Help. I haven't been able to. Thanks! Rodger

I haven't touched IN-COM either, and I'm running Online 2.01. I use 7S1 and it works fine.
