What is the best available printer driver for the HP 550C. Not the
Pagestram version, but one for general use. Thanks.

Creative Focus is just about to release a commercial driver for the
DJ550C. Their drivers are VERY good and are worth the money…

An Amiga owner over on HPPeripheral Forum said that he found one on
Genie and would upload it here. That was supposed to be last week. I'm
still waiting on it. Pretty soon, I'll look him up, but I wanted to give
the sysops here a chance to post it. So far, my 500C driver has done
pretty well.

A 550C driver was uploaded here (on 3 separate occassions). It is a
commercial driver, not public domain or shareware. For a 550C driver,
contact your local dealer to order it for you or contact Commodore directly
for information on this driver.

I wondered if that's what happened. I warned the guy in HPPeriph to
check filesizes against the commercial one, but he didn't know what it
was.
Yes, I hear that CBM is in beta on the driver. I hope they get it done
soon. It's quite galling to be stuck waiting for this while Windows
Weenies are dumping out nice prints at work. Gak.
