For several weeks now I have been trying to make my 144LC work properly, but to no avail. What I will probably do is either try to sell it and get a Sportster or send it back to Supra. Are USRobotics sportster's better than 144LC? I heard that instead of a regular modem chipset they use a DSP

I don't if sportsters are better than 144LCs or not, but I use a sportster with a stock 4000, 3.0, GPfax & AP with no problems beyond myself. -ash

Eugene, I've been using a Supra 144LC for six months now, with my 2000. Absolutely no problems at 14400 hookup. If I can help, just ask. John A. On AutoPilot all the way from the U.K.

"I've been using a Supra 144LC for six months now, with my 2000. Absolutely no problems at 14400 hookup. " What I am having problems with is connecting to 28.8 modems. When negotioating beginns bothe my 14.4 and the 28.8 do a lot of "talking" but nothing comes out of it, they just don't connect.
