#Pro Graphics 1024 – Drv?

Anyone know of a driver to allow the use of the Media Vision Pro Graphics 1024 card in R3? It has a built in VESA driver, but it onlyl supports 256 colors. This card will do 24bit @ 1024… Also, I've tried the TurboDemo driver and the RCPADI driver for it, but it's very buggy and locks up my system all the time. Any ideas? Is there a Vibrant update coming out soon for it? Thanks for whatever info, folks! Oral Friend

Oral, << Media Vision Pro Graphics 1024 card.. >> Do you know which chipset the card is based on? Have you tried using vibcfg by selecting this chipset from the list of chipsets found at the bottom of the graphic card list? jonas[adesk]

I believe the ProGraphics 1024 and 1280 use a proprietary chipset. These cards perform wonderfully, but are poorly supported by 3rd party drivers. That's one of the reasons I didn't get one a couple of months back. John Tissavary (LUNA cie)

That's the kicker.

You may wish to e-mail Chuck Walbourn[Vibrant] 71673,2500 and list your card as a wishlist item. jonas[adesk]
